A typical Sunday during a pandemic and other thoughts of how we deal with this. Here’s how we’re really doing right now on an almost deeper level. Say this MEME very funny must read this…,

This is what it feels like one year later after the pandemic has started .

At this point, we are one year beyond the pandemic. It is a typical Sunday when we get up at about seven or 8 o’clock. Our car does not exist in our driveway anymore.. In 2018, the car we had and bought last fall had a serious amount of rust in it underneath the wheel which was about to go. The ultra prissy Catholic people would say offer it up and then when you die in an accident due to a rusted car and a fallen off wheel, they won’t pay a damn dime for for you or your accident and they would look on like a Pharisee. No , I reacted differently than they did last fall or earlier this year. I’m going to pass on offering it up and just sell the damn car for $500 is what I said. Further backstory is we had a Chrysler Sebring that had a serious transmission problem. What it was was that you would turn the car on and there was some serious mechanical problems to the point where you stop at a stoplight it would jerk the whole car , and not that not only that, there was a series battery issue that if you didn’t even know it was if it was going to start. There is no way I was about to go get a car payment thought I would be more prepared than you if something bad happened… So, my husband and I as a married couple, decided to save the money for us for us and forth right so we can go to the car shop and get a car out right that was hopefully almost brand new .

Soon as the pandemic stimulus money comes in will have almost $10,000 to almost 15,000 saved up for almost new car. My goal is to have an SUV so I can put the dog crate in the back and take Alfie the beagle with us when we need to . I am so over all of this and ready to be vaccinated . I’m so ready for this car nightmare to be totally and completely over.

I am sick of those people telling me to offer it up . All while, they themselves wouldn’t even get in the cars like that. You wouldn’t even have the patience to find a decent car or wait it out like us.I’ll give you five minutes in our life to wait it out like we’re doing . How are we getting around? Try Uber and Lyft and an occasional U-Haul rental or a rental car.

And then comes more cleaning because you sit in a house or an apartment during a pandemic and want to make it perfect when you don’t darn well know that well everything is coming at you, it’s not perfect but you wanna make it clean because I and my husband we have a beagle dog that makes a mess…

It’s spring why not.

Here’s my cleaning list. Being that it’s now spring wanna take about another day or so to really refresh things and make it workable.

So to stay ahead in anyway and control your surroundings, like I have been doing you do little things like grout and try to keep your world clean. All this while there’s a deeper list of things you need to do. I would honestly say let is not going as well for me as I had hoped but at least were shaking off some of the things we need to get done… I can joyfully say this: it is getting done.

Today’s list is online Mass . It’s been touching go for me going to in person mass because we sit in the very back of our beach church Saint Brendan‘s in Clearwater beach. Most of the people who come in there are tourists from the beach who do not wear masks. We always sit in the very last row in the corner praying to God no one comes near us with their germs . and it’s turning out to where we’re going like once a month instead of every week because of our local bishops dispensation from having to attend mass. This is because of the COVID 19 pandemic. I don’t go grocery shopping because I have grocery delivery service from Walmart, Instacart, and shipt. Trust me, it pays for itself.

Friday my husband had to go to the eye doctor because you do need to see and he did need to get new glasses. Was a miracle that they had his lenses right there and didn’t have to send out for them for two weeks.

And then comes the cleaning. I now have a clean house or I will have a new clean house as of tonight at 6 o’clock.I’m in the middle of my deep spring cleaning.

What’s going on here? Well, last night I spent several hours doing the grout in my living room. We don’t have a rug because we have a dog.Attention anybody would come at me and say my house is dirty you’re behind. You better start now you’re so behind and I bet you’re filthy and you live like a pig , ha ha.

Below is a picture of what my grout now looks like. I used toilet bowl cleaner to get into the crevices because the toilet bowl cleaner has bleach.

Amazing huh? I had to let it sit there for a while and I have a brush so I got at it. I almost got on my hands and knees and without it for 2 1/2 to 3 hours last night.

Next on my spring cleaning refresh list is our bedroom and my office…Here is a picture of my office right now that does not look like it should be on Pinterest.

Getting realistic today’s objective after watching online church is to straighten this office once and for all. I’m putting my main desk against the wall and my bookcases and printer stand is going on the left instead of the right. Don’t know if it’ll work but let’s try it. Goal is to get a handle on all of the paper that seems to flood my desk. Why is it on Pinterest that nobody has any paper on the desk and it looks perfect?

What do I do for a living? Right now I’m working with my husband and his legal practice helping him get clients. I do his marketing, I do all the filing of cases, and I called clerks office is to check on status of things for clients.I do his marketing, I do all the filing of cases, and I called clerks office is to check on status of things for clients.Honestly, I was teaching but I have issues about how things are going as far as safety and how or how not or whatever when the kids wear masks and they’re coming off their noses and I don’t feel safe with them spreading their germs.. I have other issues I’d rather not talk about here on a blog. Right now, I like working with my husband because I don’t have to wear a mask or deal with kids who do not behave dieRight now, I like working with my husband because I don’t have to wear a mask or deal with kids who do not behave.

Bottom line is is that a lot of people don’t want to sub in schools where they do not give them medical insurance and a decent wage . And honestly, why do that when you can work at home without a COVID mask? One of these days, I am going to write about that it’s going to happen trust me I promise… after all is said and done, I really got my masters degree so I can get my PhD one day.I like the idea that there will be one day will have to call me Doctor.

I love working with my husband right now. .I can be honest about that. Everything with the courts right now is on zoom for about the next year and a half. We work at home here in this mess of an office. And we do all and everything because of Covid, it’s made it a lot easier for us to get clients because everyone understands why we’re not having an in person meeting. Honestly, I like it because we make our own hours many times and get paid just as much or more . The more self-contained and I don’t have to put up with the BS the kids give . There = I said it. Whew!

I really do miss going to church in person on Sunday. We’ve been doing that once a month to decrease the odds of getting this horrible disease dot . But but I do not miss what many of these people stand for and that’s Trump and all the hypocrisy that goes with it. My big question to them is how can you support a man that’s been married three times, yet you were against all the gay people? In reality, I understand and have a conceptual understanding of what a sacramental marriage is, but I just don’t get how you can do that and then support trump? And I love when they deny it it’s just so much of a hypocrisy situation… I could go on and on about this but the issue is it’s so naïve to support someone like that… And then they come at me about this naïve button called abortion . One last thing about that little button, not one of them will support mothers and children who are already born die and, they speak out of the two sides of their mouth. What hypocrites they are! It’s wrong to support social justice for them.

OK people, especially all you church people, stay away from me . I can pray on my own away from you Trump supporters…I would rather do my grout and rearrange the furniture in my office just so I can write about you and tell the truth once and for all! This is my mood right now I would rather do my clean grout because I’ve read just about everything there is to read and I’m already reading it, so stay away from me… I’ll do my volunteer work twice a month I won’t even tell you what I’m doing because that’s for God. It’s not half empty it’s half full. To all you Trump church people don’t waste my Time by me having to be near going to take a long time for me to forgive you for the garbage of the last four years and even beyond that died.

I did the entryway near our door in our small apartment. We have a place near the door where we keep our Covid masks and dog leashes and shoes and things like that . And that frame item at the very bottom is a laundry holder apparatus that I still need to fix today. I need to remove the wheels and hang it somewhere in the hallway so I can keep the laundry straight . Still need to fix the dryer in the next two weeks because it has an e 64 warning on it Frigidaire dryer.

As far as the dryer and things that need to be fixed and the car that needs to still be purchased or bought, I’ll wait. It’s coming . I’m not hopeless yet. And looking even deeper, I’m not the idiot or the church idiot that says offer your sorrows like they don’t know what to say when they tell me to do it in a singsong voice. Trust me, I’d like to see them in this little pandemic bubble I’m in . Let’s see them go without a car for a year and a half . And then when I pull up in my almost new car at church one Sunday, I don’t even want to hear them say , “what a nice car you have” to which I will retort “ I went with that one for a year and a half so I can get this , what would you do?” Do you really care? Did you really care what happened before this? And I’m gonna snap my nose down at them before they snap their nose at me.

Not only that people, looking even deeper, I have a very long list of something that is the desire of my heart and that’s to get my two writing projects done finally before the end of the summer. and I’d like to at least entertain the thought of going on for a PhD…I can’t live like a Walmart mama kitty mama does . I can’t go into Target and think my sorrows are going to be totally cured while I make my husband wait outside for three hours . I would never do thatThat’s something that we as a couple do not do I go by myself every once in a while…I don’t do it to meet people.I’m not a chitchat person at a grocery store . That’s a rare event unless there’s a recipe to share impromptu with a stranger I’ve never met before . .

My dog just got off the couch while I was dictating into my iPhone. I think he’s bored. Even my poor baby is suffering during this pandemic.

On Sundays, I sit here in the morning get coffee and think about what I have to do for the day, and I also do the readings for the day and read divine office, which is the catholic liturgy of the hours. I also have my cup of coffee .

I have a collection a very unusual mugs . Today I was in a literature mood and decided to use this one. This mug has the beginning of about 30 books . I got it on Amazon.!

We also on Sunday watch Traveling Robert on YouTube.

Https:// This YouTuber is a guy in Miami who travels with his RV & goes to different places around the country. It’s very realistic and it’s very not over idealistic which is something my husband and I like. We hope to RV Or just to rent one to see what it’s what it’s like.

I had to sit down the other day and just think about things on a deeper level… I don’t think we as Florida people will ever measure up to those prissy Catholic people. It seems like they have a love-hate relationship with us here in Florida. On one hand, they do nothing but criticize people like us, or our hot weather, how we don’t do everything right side up according to their standards. But then again, no one is their standards not even God. Those people are not even comfortable with themselves…It’s totally OCD and weird…

Then, remember these idiots voted for Trump who is married three times yet they champion marriage like they want everybody else’s approval .

Just shut up shutup …, just get a hell away from us! That’s what I feel like saying sometimes in the middle of all of this pandemic time. So, unless it’s the business landline we don’t answer the phone and less I know you. Do you know how many scam calls I get a day? Do you know how many people who are trying to sell me something every day? I’ve got a Spanish phone call they calls me every day on these crazy crazy phone numbers that I block every single time. Folks, I’m on a do not call list at the federal level and state of Florida level . But they still call . Little do they know, I could sue them and I’m getting ready to sue or complain so very soon if it keeps up .

I’ve got more cleaning to do . I’ve got a breakfast to make and then I’ve got to get into some serious deeper deeper stuff. That deeper stuff? It’s why I got a masters degree so I can get a PhD one day . I just can’t settle for Walmart or Target less I just can’t settle for what everyone thinks I should do. So dot that in a deeper way.I have a serious sacred desire to use my talents in a deeper way… Just shopping at target — it’s not the deeper part of my life .

Reality? There are a lot of books that I haven’t read yet because I’ve been dealing with survival issues that whether reality or not, those books need to be read! They will be read. I have to set boundaries. I will not be my lack of charity when I say no to you or to anyone else because I would like to do something that I have not had the opportunity to do yet.

Oh, the deeper part of my life died during my pursuit in my 20s and 30s for survival. I would like to pursue this literature and writing dream job. It’s why I became a reporter in the first place so I can get some writing experience with the stress of a deadline.I believe that was important to do in spite of the poverty that followed it as circled it and made me tougher .

And I think I’m gonna take the rest of this year to do that and help my husband and work with him and calm down about this whole ordeal. Sigh, there’s no sense getting upset about or with people who don’t like you around them.

They can call me like they did . But then I have to realize there are a lot of people who didn’t want to do what they wanted me to do… honestly people I’m sick of being used by people who can’t make up their mind. I’m sick of liars and thieves and people who run for election who are liars and thieves. I’m sick of people in the workplace who are petty. I’m reading this again, makes me understand that it’s not just the pandemic that did this .

My husband is none of those things and I like working with him right now because we call the shots most of the time . Take my sister-in-law more than likely had the same kind of situation but in a different shape or form. I’m guessing at that one. I’m really guessing at that one .

Two words I’ve got to say moving on and going deeper.

Happy lent!! And the race is on to Easter and our May anniversary Florida hot weather which keeps us inside in the cold air conditioning until next October!

Got allll that? We hope so until we get our pandemic shot. I am trying to limit where I go until then. I like the fact that I don’t have to walk around in an institution with a mask on…I’ll wear one but where I work is now home and I shouldn’t have to wear one at at home, where I work.

I’m looking forward to most of this being over and I’m hoping that all this working at home is going to change things .
